Company Policies
Item Availability
Somme Institute® makes every effort to keep sufficient stock of items listed on our site; however, we may sell out of certain products on occasion. If we are out of stock on an item that you have ordered, we will notify you via email. Any changes will be reflected in your order total as well as your shipping confirmation email.

Shipping
Somme Institute® does not ship to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses. Somme Institute® will only use UPS to ship to the 48 continental states. Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska are considered domestic shipments and will be shipped via UPS. Please note that some expedited shipping services may not be available for these states. In this case, we will ship your order via the least expensive shipping service. Additionally, shipments to these states will require additional shipping charges and will be charged to your credit card once your order ships. For all orders shipping to the 48 continental states, you will be given a choice between UPS Next Day Air Saver, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select, and UPS Ground.

Somme Institute® gladly accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Orders
All orders are processed within 24-48 hours. Actual shipping time is contingent upon the availability of merchandise and credit verification. Most orders are shipped within 1 business day of receiving your order. Orders placed after 11am E.S.T. will be processed the following business day. No orders are processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. In the event of delays, every effort will be made to contact you by email and/or phone. Please note that shipping time is not the same as total delivery time. We need time to process and assemble your order before we actually ship it; choosing NEXT DAY AIR SAVER does not mean your order will be delivered the day after you place your order online. You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been successfully transmitted. In addition, a shipping confirmation email will be sent once your order has been shipped, which will contain the tracking number(s) for your order. In the unlikely event your order is processed incorrectly or you receive a damaged or defective item, we will gladly remedy the situation by shipping you the correct item or a replacement. If you find an error in your shipment, please contact us within 5 business days of receipt. Please provide your order number and the details of your shipment issue.

Sales Tax
Somme Institute® will charge sales tax for orders that are shipped to New York State and Washington State only. Residents in other states are responsible for complying with local state tax laws.

Returns & Refunds
We hope you love your Somme Institute® purchase(s). However, if for any reason, you are not seeing the results promised as in the MDT5™ clinicals, please call our Skin Care Hotline toll free at 866.66.SOMME to speak with one of our researchers. Upon official return authorization from a Somme Institute® Researcher, your purchase may be returned for a full refund. Please write your reason for the return on a copy of your receipt (either your order confirmation message or invoice) and include it in your return shipment.

The only other instance in which a full refund can be given is when the products are un-opened and have been returned to Somme Institute® within 14 days from purchase with receipt.

It is recommended that a shipping carrier that provides tracking (such as UPS or FedEx) be used when returning products. Somme Institute® is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged during the shipment of a return.

If anything arrives damaged or defective, please call us to arrange for a return for even exchange.

Please note:
Returns cannot be accepted for skin care products that are more than 20% consumed. (Studies show that allergic reactions happen within the first 15% of a product's use.)

Returns will be accepted on products purchased from SommeInstitute.com only. Products purchased from any of our retail partners should be returned to their place of purchase.

Gift cards are not returnable.

Original Shipping & Handling charges are non-refundable.

All refunds are credited back to the original payment method. No cash refunds.
