How to Use AfterPay:
- Shop - This is the fun part.
- Select AfterPay as the payment option during checkout.
- Pay 1 Installment. When you are finished checking out, you will only be charged for the first of a total of four (4) installments.
- Pay the remaining three (3) installments; will be charged every two weeks.
What is AfterPay?
AfterPay is an alternative payment method service that allows us to offer our customers the ability to make purchases now and pay for them in 4 equal (interest-free!) installments, made every 2 weeks.
How do I use AfterPay?
Just shop at Somme Institute like you normally do. During checkout, select AfterPay as your payment method. You will be directed to the AfterPay website to register and provide payment details. If you’ve used AfterPay before, just log into your AfterPay account! Then follow the steps to complete your order. Usually, the first installment is paid at checkout, and the remaining 3 are made every 2 weeks (but don’t worry, we will ship your order out once your order is processed!).
Please note, all items in your order must be eligible for AfterPay, and the order value must be between $35 and $1,000. You will receive an instant approval decision on your order at checkout. Gift cards are not eligible for AfterPay. You must be 18 years or older to create an AfterPay account.
Is AfterPay available for international customers?
At this time, AfterPay is available only for customers who have U.S. billing addresses, a U.S. Visa or MasterCard, and a U.S. phone number. Unfortunately, customers with international billing information will not be able to set up an AfterPay account.
Does AfterPay charge fees?
There are no fees associated with the account as long as installments are paid on time, according to the payment schedule (provided at the time of order approval). If you have an overdue payment, AfterPay automatically applies a grace period (usually 10 days unless otherwise noted) without you having to do anything. Late fees are incurred if payment is not made within the disclosed grace period.
If I used AfterPay, can I still return an item?
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact our Customer Service team to return the item(s). The first time you return an order made through AfterPay, it can be confusing as you may expect the entire payment schedule for your order to be readjusted to reflect the new order value.
Once the refund is processed, it automatically updates through to AfterPay, and your payment installment plan is adjusted to reflect the new total order value starting with the last payment installment and working backward.
